Porsche and Bentley dealerships will be built in High Wycombe – if the developer secures planning permission.

Bucks Council confirmed it has agreed “a conditional disposal” for both dealerships relating to the undeveloped site of the former leisure centre, at Handy Cross, on Marlow Hill.

It said the deal was conditional because it still depends on the developer (thought to be Dealership Developments Ltd) winning planning permission.

Plans previously detailed the construction of a two-storey (3,935 sqm) building for use as a Porsche Centre, a two-storey (1,655 sqm) building for use as a Bentley dealership, and a single-storey (492 sqm) building for use as a car preparation workshop.

It is understood the new scheme could also feature showrooms and sales areas, an MOT testing facility, offices, and 263 parking spaces (combined).

Access could be from the A404 via the existing road serving Waitrose, the leisure centre and the Park and Ride.

Bucks Free Press: The new site, currently used for temporary vehicle storage, could have ‘green walls’, EV (electric vehicle) charge points, and roof-mounted solar panels.

More than 80 new jobs could be created.

“The council has agreed a conditional disposal (of Handy Cross Hub) subject to planning on the site,” a council document reads.

“The developer operator continues to work up a planning application for the site.”

A council spokesman added: “It is conditional because it depends on the developer securing planning permission.”
