Aylesbury Crown Court heard how Broomhead-Fox picked a fight with a stranger in the Feathers Pub in Aylesbury on June 21.

In the unprovoked attack, Broomhead-Fox picked up an empty pint glass and swung it so hard at his victim that it shattered and sliced through his neck, narrowly missing an artery.

Fortunately, the man’s life was saved by a retired paratrooper who was in the pub at the same time.
