Police are trying to track down a would-be burglar who tried to get into “multiple properties” in one Bucks street.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an attempted burglary in Treadaway Hill, Flackwell Heath.

Thames Valley Polcie believe that the offender was seen trying to get into multiple houses in the street at around 12.20pm on Wednesday 15 December.

At one house, an offender was seen going to the back of the property, trying doors and windows to see if they were insecure.

A CCTV picture of a man police believe could help with their investigation has been released.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Andrew Cummins based at High Wycombe police station, said: ”The man in this picture may have vital information about this attempted burglary.

“If you think you know him, or if this is you, please contact Thames Valley Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference 43210571544 or make a report online.

“You can also remain 100% anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111”.
