A DRIVE-THRU restaurant is set to open its second branch in Milton Keynes next week.

Canadian fast-food chain Tim Hortons, which already has a restaurant at Kingston Centre Retail Park, opens to the public on Monday, April 4 from 7am.

The popular restaurant will be taking over the former Pizza Hut unit at Westcrofts Retail Park, on Barnsdale Drive.

To celebrate the launch, the first 100 guests will get a free breaksfast and the first customer through the door and drive-thru will be offered a whole year of free coffee.

Tim Hortons opened its first UK branch in 2017 and now has 23 locations across the country, including Glasgow, Belfast, Manchester and the Midlands.

The brand is owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI), which also owns Burger King and US fast food chain, Popeyes.

And the first Milton Keynes restaurant was the chain's first drive-thru restaurant in the South of England.
