Fire crews were called to Flackwell Heath this morning after a blaze was seen ripping through a garden nearby the village's football club.
Emergency services were seen outside a home on Oakland Way as police officers closed the road off after the alarm was raised by a six-year-old boy at 10am this morning.
The house backs onto Wilks Park, home to Flackwell Heath F.C., and urgent access was requested from nearby residents to the ground to deal with the incident.
