A drink driver who was caught four times over the legal limit has been stripped of her driving licence.

Rachel Morris, aged 33, of Edward Close, Aylesbury, has been banned from the road for three years after she was caught over the limit in Aylesbury on June 16.

When asked to carry out a breath test, Morris gave a reading of 175 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal maximum is 35 micrograms, making her four times over the limit.

At a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates' Court on July 4, the Kia driver pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving.

After hearing the evidence, the magistrates ruled that Morris must carry out a nine-month alcohol treatment course as part of her sentence.

She was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work in the community and was banned from the road for a total of 36 months.

Before ending the hearing, the justices also ruled that she must pay £199 in court costs.
