Traffic was blocked after a man crashed into the roadside telephone pole in the Chilterns yesterday.
Firefighters were alerted a smash on Martinsend Lane in Great Missenden after a driver crashed into a telephone pole on December 1 around 4pm.
The impact of the crash affected the safety of the overhead cables, making them unstable.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters requested the electricity provider and BT open reach to attend due to unstable overhead cables.
“They made the scene safe and assisted Thames Valley Police with traffic management.”
The male driver of the car was out by the time one appliance and crew from Amersham arrived to the scene.
