The emergency services treated a man after a blaze involving two cars.  

The firefighters were alerted to Marsham Way in Gerrards Cross at around 2pm on Wednesday (May 3).

When one fire engine and crew from Gerrards Cross station arrived, they found a car “well alight.”

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A car was well alight on arrival.

“The firefighters provided incident emergency care to a man who was suffering from burns.”

They used a breathing apparatus, a hose reel, thermal imaging camera and a first aid kit during the incident.

The man was then passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

One car was 100 percent damaged by the flames and a nearby car was 50 percent damaged by heat.

The fire service left the incident in the hands of Thames Valley Police but the force declined to comment.

South Central Ambulance Service was contacted for a comment.
