A coastal-themed clothing store opened its doors at an ‘exciting’ new spot on a Buckinghamshire High Street today.

British lifestyle brand Crew Clothing is welcoming residents into its newest store on Marlow High Street today (October 6) with vouchers, gifts and drinks on hand to celebrate the Salcombe-based business’s return to the town.

The celebration, taking place at the new site of Number 71 on the High Street, was kicked off by a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Olympic rower Greg Searle MBE this morning.

The first 20 customers in the shop, which officially opened for business at 10am, received £10-off vouchers and other incentives including a ‘sip while you shop’, free gifts with purchases of over £75, and a competition to win a £100 Crew Clothing gift card and £100 to spend at The Butcher’s Tap and Grill will continue throughout the day.

Crew Clothing's opening in Marlow, which coincides with the brand's 30th anniversary year, comes after a former branch closed in the town in June 2022 - with a sign in the new store's window cheekily declaring, 'We're back!'.

The Salcombe-based business has been a beloved hallmark of British High Streets for decades, featuring timeless signature pieces including heritage rugby shirts and Breton striped blouses alongside its latest AW23 Golf Fashion collection.

Naomi Parry, Head of Marketing at Crew Clothing, said: “We’re opening our Marlow store at an exciting time for the brand, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year.

“Crew was started by the water, and we feel that Marlow, with its rowing heritage, will be the perfect fit for us. We can’t wait to welcome new and existing fans of Crew into the store today.”
