OLYMPIC silver medallist Keri-Anne Payne will be among the speakers at Buckinghamshire New University’s jobs in sport exhibition.

The two-time world champion open swimmer will join Tom Bates, performance coach at West Bromwich Albion, and Ashley Metcalfe, Chief Executive of British Weightlifting, at the March 20 event.

Attendees will also be invited to attend a second workshop involving Sky Sports News presenter Olivia Wayne and Paul Morgan, Communications Director from Premiership Rugby.

Activate Sport, the Marines, Nuffield Health, SkillsActive, and Wycombe Wanderers will all take part in Graduate Jobs in Sport LIVE.

Paul Morgan, head of sport at BNU, said, “This national event is about inspiring people to learn from the achievement of elite athletes and administrators at the top of their field.

“This is also a fabulous opportunity for our students to meet people that work across a variety of sports areas such as the media, sport science, sports administration and sports events.

“I am sure that this type of learning opportunity will inform the students and members of the public about the exciting career routes that exist around the world in sport.”

Tickets for the event start from £3.50.

It gets underway from 10am in the Gateway Events Hall, visit www.graduatejobsinsport.co.uk/livefor to more information or to buy your tickets.
