A MAN died in a collision in Thame on Saturday morning.

A grey Renault Laguna estate came off the road on the A329 Rycote Lane at 11.35am.

The driver, a 69-year-old man from Aylesbury, died at the scene.

No one else was injured in the incident and no other vehicles were involved.

He had been driving north along Moreton Road away from Moreton Village towards A329 Rycote Lane when the vehicle mounted the nearside verge, just before the junction.

It then continued across the junction before coming to a rest against the perimeter fences of a scrap yard.

If you have any information about the collision contact PC Sarah Davies on 101 quoting URN 542 22/3.
