A ROCK and roll singer who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011 is leading a fundraising night this month to help battle the disease.

Ben Curtis, lead singer of ‘The New Groove’, arrives with his band to headline The Life of Riley Music Club, Christ Church Marlow on Saturday 17th May.

Support comes from classic rock outfit Freeway Mad at the Oxford Road church gig, which starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £10 each and are available in advance from thelifeofrileymusicclub.com or on the night. Doors open at 7.30pm.
