LIFEBOAT collectors raised more than £20,000 last year and have now been praised by their branch chairman.

Michael Prager, the chairman of the Bourne End and District RNLI branch said in a letter to members, he was proud of their efforts to continually support lifeboat crews.

He said: “This letter is a wonderful acknowledgement of the work of the Bourne End Branch helpers and the generosity of our many supporters and contributors in the community.”

He added I know we can count on our supporters again throughout this year.

If you are interested in joining the branch, please call Mr Prager on 07769 932871.
