A 23-year-old man has been charged with drug crimes following his arrest in Aylesbury.

Just before 1pm on Monday, June 28, officers from Thames Valley Police stopped a vehicle in Revels Close where ‘a substantial quantity of Class B drugs and other controlled substances’ were discovered.

Officers also recovered ‘in excess of £12,000 cash at a related address.’

• Concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B - cannabis

• Possess with the intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B - cannabis

• Possess a controlled drug of Class A - Cocaine

• Possess a controlled drug of Class B - other

• Drive whilst disqualified

• Use a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance

He has been remanded into police custody and will appear in court today [Wednesday, June 30].

In a brief post by Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale, they said: “This is another example of how we actively seek to disrupt and bring to justice those involved in criminality across Aylesbury Vale.

“This the actions of this one person be a warning to others.”

The arrest and charge were made through the Aylesbury Vale Stronghold operation, which is a programme to tackle major crime within the town and its surrounding areas.
