Window smashed in burglary
Cash and jewellery were stolen in a burglary in Beaconsfield yesterday.
A rear window at the property in Cherry Tree Road was smashed, allowing the burglars to get in and search the house.
The incident happened sometime between 7.30am and 9pm while the homeowners were out.
Anyone with information on the burglary, or who saw someone acting suspiciously, should contact Amersham CID on 101, quoting crime reference number 43150116611. Alternatively contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
