A post office in Beaconsfield has reopened to the public after a major refurbishment.

The Post Office in Burkes Road opened its doors again on November 13 after an official opening ceremony saw the town mayor, John Read, cut the ribbon.

Since the revamp, the Post Office has now extending its opening hours by 41 hours and 30 minutes a week, including all day Sunday and Saturday afternoon and there are conversation rooms for private talks about financial services.

The shop is also supporting Bucks businesses by stocking produce from the likes of Rebellion Beer, Bucks Honey, Windy Mills Pickles and Chiltern Cold Pressed Oils.
