Well, here it is again, re-written for the stage by Graham Lineham, author of Father Ted and The IT Crowd. Lead by 'Professor' Marcus, a disparate gang of criminal misfits, posing as a quintet of musicians, rent a room in the home of elderly Mrs Louisa Wilberforce to plan a heist. Always on the back foot and seeking to limit the damage they are forced to involve the old lady in their plans. But Louisa is as wise as her moth-eaten parrot, General Gordon and soon outwits them. 21 March The Chiltern Camerata performs the Bach B Minor Mass, 7.30pm, All Saints' Parish Church, Church Street, High Wycombe. Conductor Sam Laughton, with the Camerata Consort perform J.S. Bach’s Mass in B minor. The B minor mass is the very last and arguably the greatest of all of J S Bach’s vocal compositions. Since its first performance in April 1733, commentators have continued to view the B Minor Mass as Bach's sincere ecumenical attempt to unite the two primary religious traditions of his era: the Catholic and Lutheran liturgies.
