A turkey farm in Cookham opened its doors and invited children to become mini farmers for a day.
Copas Turkeys gave the youngsters a chance to experience life as a turkey farmer at family-run Kings Coppice Farm on Grubwood Lane during half term.
The young farmers got a behind-the-scenes look at how the farm works, riding on a tractor trailer, meeting and stroking the turkeys and playing games.
The farm’s turkey dog, Kes, who rounds up the birds, also performed some tricks for the excited children.
The mini farmer event was the farm’s second, after a “fantastic” sell-out day last year.
As well as entertaining the children, voluntary donations of £5 meant that hundreds was raised for their chosen charity, Fight for George.
Three-year-old George Ferriman was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia earlier this year and is now in remission.
Copas Traditional Turkeys is now celebrating its 58th year and first started out when founder, Tom Copas, was given a gift of 153 turkeys by his father.
