A festive school fayre was hailed as a "great success" at the weekend.
Hundreds of excited children and their parents flocked to Danesfield School as they welcomed Santa to their Christmas fayre on Saturday (November 26).
While parents shopped until they dropped in the Christmas market, youngsters enjoyed having their face painted while they waited to meet Father Christmas himself.
There was also a craft room, tombola and games including lucky dip, while school head teacher, Sarah Morgan, was on hand to reveal the lucky winners of the raffle.
Nikki Wright, from Danesfield PTA, said: "The event was a great success and lots of money raised to help improvements to our school.
"Lots of local business and crafts people supported the event and there was a great community atmosphere throughout the fun festivities."
