A car that was set on fire in Gerrards Cross in the early hours of the morning is being treated as an arson attack.

Just after midnight on Wednesday, November 2, a car was set alight in Fulmer Drive.

It is believed that a can of petrol was used to start the fire and the offender left the scene on foot.

No one was injured in the incident, but Bucks Fire and Rescue were called to the scene at 12.11am because the fire had caused external damage to a house.

One fire engine and crew from Gerrards Cross, another from Beaconsfield and one from Slough attended and had to use breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for anyone with information to come forward and help with the investigation by calling their 24-hour enquiry line 101.
