Revised plans to convert a former High Wycombe town centre pub into housing and a shop have been approved by planning bosses.
Previous proposals to turn Scorpios Bar in Crendon Street into housing were shelved because the scheme proved too expensive.
But fresh plans have this week been given approval by Wycombe District Council.
Scorpios shut in 2012 and plans to convert the bar area into three retail units and the two upstairs floors into housing were subsequently given planning permission, but it never went ahead as work to increase the height of the building proved too expensive to implement.
A new application was made earlier this year, creating four bedsits on the first floor and three more on the second floor of the property and converting the ground floor into a retail unit.
