Bake Off champion Nadiya Hussain, who made the Queen’s 90th birthday cake this week, will be the guest of honour at a High Wycombe food fair this summer, it has been announced.
On the same day as the baker nervously delivered a carefully crafted cake to Her Majesty, organisers of Eden Shopping Centre’s annual fair revealed she would be hosting their show stopping food event in July.
The rising star, who won last year’s The Great British Bake Off and became an overnight national treasure, will be helping shoppers and wannabe bakers to recreate her signature macaroons as well as a special savoury dish.
Nadiya will also be signing copies of her new book, and taking part in a foodie Q&A session.
Last year’s Food Fair was hosted by MasterChef star Gregg Wallace.
The Food Fair on July 2 will feature south Bucks food producers, stalls and demonstrations by Eden’s eateries.
More information about the event is expected to be released soon.
