YOUNG artists are showcasing their works alongside professionals at the Buckinghamshire Art Society (BAS) Autumn Exhibition, now running at Obsidian Art in Stoke Mandeville.
Among the new talents on show are Emily Davies, from Chalfont Community College, who won this year’s BAS Young Artists Award and is now studying at the prestigious Chelsea College of Art and Design; second prize winner Kathleen Sayers, from Chesham High School, and third prize winner Loren Haywood, from Sir William Ramsay School.
The exhibition also features more than 100 paintings, sculpture and print work produced by society members, including Paul Millichip, Shirley Bradford, Clarissa Galliano and Brian Bennett.
The BAS exhibition runs until Sunday, October 19 at Obsidian Art, Bucks Goat Centre, Stoke Mandeville. Gallery open daily 10am to 5pm. Details: 01296 612150 or www.obsidianart.co.uk
