CLAIRABELLA will be holding a Craft Market at the Guildhall, in the High Street, High Wycombe. The event, on Saturday, August 20, will be held between 10am and 4pm. Organisers say there will be a lovely selection of crafts, produced by local people and sold by them, with a percentage of sales going to Scannappeal.

THE Chapterhouse Theatre Company will perform Snow White in the open air at Wendover Woods on August, 26 at 6pm. Join the Forestry Commission in the woods as Katy Allen, from TV's The Worst Witch, takes the role as Snow White. Families are welcome to go at 5pm and bring their own picnic. The novel by Tony Beckingsale brings to life the story of his distant relative, Elsie Laure Beckingsale, who was a woman from High Wycombe who travelled under the London Missionary Society. THE Pantaloons are bringing a three month national tour of The Canterbury Tales to Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury on August 20 at 6pm. It is the first time all of the tales have been done in one gone. There is also a medieval market beforehand where audience members can interact with the characters. Call 01296653226 to book.

CELEBRATE Roald Dahl's birthday at the Great Missenden museum and in Gipsy House garden on September 18 from 11am-5pm. It is the sixth annual Roald Dahl Day and this year it is 50 years since James and the Giant Peach was first published. There will be a day of special events and activities and the garden will also be open for the day. Tickets to the museum are £6 for adults and £4 for children. Admission to the garden is free on the day but donations to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity gratefully received.
