EVER had the feeling you're going around in circles?

Well, you might do if you take a look at artist Warren Kerley's work. Swirls and circular shapes are the inspiration for some of his latest pieces of art.

So how does he sum up the art he is currently involved in?

“There's quite a lot of facets to it, I've done it for 25 years,” The High Wycombe father-of-two explained.

“All my art is based around sculpted canvases.

“When you see my art its very structured within set shapes, with some of the circles, it's like wine swirls, I'm creating that affect on a canvas.”

In fact, he recently created a 3 metre by 3metre wall out of 78 wine bottles for Laithwaites Wine, for an art fair at Battersea power station.

The kind of circles he makes are to create a dynamic effect, he said.

“When the light catches it, it changes, so the art changes during the day,” he said.

“The colours I use are very iridescent, they are metallic and shimmer, there's about 16 levels of colour.

“Everything I do is about building up layers either in graphic design or a piece of art.”

Warren has also just finished a painting exhibition at The Swan Theatre in October.

“It was very well received and we've got quite a few people interested in a few pieces,” he said.

Warren, who spends much of his time outside his studios on the football pitch in his role as youth coach at Marlow United, also runs a creative agency.

His next major project is probably going to be for next year's Henley Festival. To see some of his work visit. www.art4business.co.uk.
