Name: Denise Cummins
Age: 49
Job: A school dinner lady
Pub: The Britannia in Little Marlow Road, Marlow
When did you first go to the pub? I've been in Marlow in 49 years and the pub was fine as I was growing but then it had a bad reputation for a time.
Recently it reopened and my husband and I and our friends went up and we felt really at home.
What made you go back? Since the revamp it bears no relation to the Britannia that I used to know and it's brilliant to have it back in Marlow at a good standard.
What do you like about it? I like the atmosphere, the staff are very nice and they are extremely well trained and very friendly. I'm not a beer drinker but my friends are and they love the knowledge the staff have about the beer
I feel personally that I can meet anyone at the pub, that I can be comfortable and not be threatened. Also, the décor is superbly done and the food is excellent.
Where do you sit? We don’t have a regular spot but we do like to sit by the Bobmore Lane side window
What do you normally drink there? For me it's Pinot Grigio and Merlot for my husband.
