1. EXPERIENCE a High Wycombe Tradition this Saturday from 11.45am to 1pm. The Annual Mayor Maker takes place in Frogmoor and see the outgoing and incoming mayor, the charter trustees and councillors weighed in and out of office. There is jeering and cheering as the town crier shouts "no more" or "some more."

2. ATTEND a glamorous garden party this Sunday at Cliveden in celebration of one of its most remarkable owners, Nancy Astor. The event takes Cliveden back to the glamorous era of the 1930s when Nancy Astor and her friends and family would have celebrated in the glorious grounds. The picturesque Water Garden will be transformed for the day, with live music, traditional Punch and Judy, party games and of course a birthday cake.  There will also be free face painting as well as Cliveden’s giant maze and the storybook themed play area provide further fun for youngsters. Actors will be dressed up as famous characters from Cliveden's past and there will be entertainment from the Marlow Town Band. It takes place from 11am to 4pm. Normal National Trust admission charges apply but no booking is required. 

3. SEE beautiful arrangements at the church in Thame. It runs from today (Friday) to Sunday and there is a Songs of Praise Service on Sunday at 6pm with Maidenhead Citadel Salvation Army Band. 4. DO you love Terry Pratchett's novel, Mort? See it come alive on stage this weekend, performed by the Chesham Bois Catholic Players. This comic play tells the story of life in Discworld when Death takes Mort on as an apprentice - with unpredictable and chaotic results. See www.c-b-c-p.org for full info. 5. ENJOY a leisurely walk around the historic heart of Marlow this Sunday at 2.30pm. Guided by members of the Marlow Society you will see some of our most beautiful and interesting buildings and learn something of Marlow's fascinating past.
