THE cast for this year’s pantomime Cinderella in Aylesbury has been announced.

Beaconsfield's Suzanne Shaw will play the Fairy Godmother, and returning after two years is Russell Grant as Baron Hardup.

They are joined by Aylesbury’s Andy Collins as Buttons, Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Andrew Derbyshire as Prince Charming and singer/songwriter Holly Brewer in the title role of Cinderella.

Suzanne got her break 2001 when the ITV show Popstars launched a competition and she was part of a newly formed pop band called Hear'Say.

In 2008 Suzanne was crowned Dancing On Ice champion in TV’s prime-time ITV1 show and hit our screens again last year in the Champion of Champions series.

Fresh out of the kitchen of this year’s 2014 Celebrity Masterchef, Russell Grant’s prolific career started at the age of ten.

He starred in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2011 and has since launched ‘Zalza’ with Flavia, a new dance-fitness DVD and can often be seen on This Morning.

He said returning to Aylesbury "is like Christmas has come early. I had such a fabulous time in Peter Pan two years ago that when I was offered the chance to return I jumped at it. The town’s great, the theatre is gorgeous and the audiences were in a league of their own, a real blast to play to. I can’t wait."

Cinderella is on at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre between December 12 and January 4.
