Air Cadets - 871 (Penn) Squadron
The Air Training Corps (or Air Cadets) offers a vast array of activities to young people aged 13 to 20 and is supported by its adult volunteers as well as the Royal Air Force. They parade on Wednesdays and Friday in their own purpose-built building on the school site. New members are always welcome so get in contact on 01494 256141. £9 per month.

Augustus Gloop trail
For all ages: Follow Augustus Gloop’s chocolate wrappers around the museum to find out some fantabulous facts. Enter their competition by designing a new invention that will help Augustus get out of the pipe.

Show Jumping
Show jumping competition. They run a clear round jumping course from 2 to 5.30pm costing £4 per round. Following that they run a 65cm class then a 80cm class at £7.50/£10. They expect everyone entering to be jumping level. They run this event on the third Friday of every month.

Gloop’s Glumptious chocolate class

Medieval Pageantry 
Visitors can visit the knights’ camp and enjoy the living history displays, with cooks in a medieval kitchen, noble ladies sewing and men-at-arms displaying their armour.  Why not have a go at some medieval dancing, games or even make your very own brass rubbing?  Children can try on a knight’s helmet and even hold a sword for an unmissable taste of life as a medieval soldier. Frozen Summer Camp 
This summer Cre8tive Kids will be hosting a three day summer camp for children aged 5+ based on the smash hit Disney film, Frozen. They welcome children of all levels and abilities for a fun packed few days of dancing, singing, arts and crafts. The Floydian Doors 
The Floydian Doors combine the music of legendary rock bands Pink Floyd and The Doors in the only show of its kind to celebrate the brilliant legacy of both bands. They’ll be performing all the favourites from the back catalogue, as well as some rarer treats for dedicated fans. Chilterns Craft and Design Show
This year, local ceramicist Clarissa Robertson of Tring in Hertfordshire is exhibiting as Clarissa Ceramics for the first time, bringing her unique creations ‘down the road’. Hughenden afternoon teas 
Afternoon tea at the beautiful Hughenden Church House in the National Trust park at Hughenden. All cakes and scones are home made and it is run each week by volunteers to raise funds for St Michael and All Angels Church in the park. Come into the church grounds and Church House is a historic building at the end of the path. Visit the ancient church while you are there and see Disraeli's grave.

1940s Weekend
The 1940s will return with a bang as the National Trust’s annual living history weekend captures all the nostalgia of war-time Britain. Now in its ninth year, the popular extravaganza will feature a wide range of exhibitions and demonstrations and bring the 1940s era to life with music, song, and dancing. Visitors are encouraged to wear period clothing or costume and join in the fun. Refreshments, including 1940s-style dishes, will be available and the shop will feature a selection of heritage and nostalgic items. Hughenden Manor is owned by the National Trust which is an independent charity and all profits from the event will go towards its care and upkeep. Marlow Food Festival

Blake and Camilla Kerslake

Thame Food Festival
This popular event is now in it seventh year. Last year an estimated 25,000 people visited the pretty market town. The event is free and there will be more than 150 stalls, offering local and artisan produce. Tom Kerridge will be there at 12pm and will sign books and chat to Lotte Duncan. Chefs demonstrating this year include Raymond Blanc, John Whaite and Edd Kimber- both winners from the Great British Bake Off, Sophie Grigson, food writer, and Emma Collen, David Mooney who trained under Raymond Blanc and Marco Pierre White, Mark Peregrine who runs the Pastry Shop in London, Adam Johnson from Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and Shaun Dickens from the Boathouse in Henley on Thames.
