CHRISTMAS shopping comes early for those who want to get ahead with lots of present ideas at the Speen Christmas market.

Local artists and designers will be showing their creations which include jewellery, ceramics, art, quilting, glass, candles and there will also be festive foods on show, including cakes, game and much more.

Over the two days of the event, vendors will change but charity Christmas cards will be available throughout from such good causes as Florence Nightingale House, Helen & Douglas House, Iain Grove Hospice at home and South Bucks Hospice, the four hospices supported by Speen Helping Hospices.

Speen's Christmas market is held in the King William IV in the centre of the picturesque village. The pub dates from 1668 and gives a wonderful atmosphere for this event. You can even take a break from spending with a drink and some refreshments.
