THE Bisham Concert Band will be treating audiences to an evening of music and carols for all the family at a Seasonal Christmas Concert.

Under its distinguished musical director Michael Pegram- formerly of H M Welsh Guards and Royal Regiment of Wales- the evening will feature several arrangements of music associated with Christmas, such as Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer- suggesting how the well known theme would be interpreted in France, Russia, Switzerland and USA- and a rhapsody based on Jingle Bells.

Also appearing will be The Bucks Health Choir with MD James Ross, inspired by the BBC Sing While You Work programme, in aid of the Florence Nightingale Hospice, which is part of Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The event will provide a welcome opportunity for the audience to join with choir and band in traditional carols. The concert band will also be performing their distinctive Big Band brand of music from stage and screen and include the stirring Liberty Bell from the pen of USA march king John Philip Sousa. It takes place on December 8 at 7.30pm at Arts4Every1, Desborough Road, High Wycombe. HP12 2PU. Advance booking recommended.

Tickets are £10 at the door or from Terrie Perry 07946 589508 and Val Mills 07767 355365. www.bishamconcertband.org.com
