WYCOMBE Orpheus Male Voice Choir present their Annual Concert - the main event of their singing year - at the Wycombe Swan on Saturday, May 12.

This popular event in the musical life of the town will once again be a joyful mixture of old favourites and brand new songs for the audience.

New songs include Sound Of Silence, The Deadwood Stage, Seize the Day, The Wind Beneath My Wings and Hallelujah while the old favourites include the UK’s favourite hymn How Great Thou Art, Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, Nessun Dorma, The Impossible Dream and Elton John’s Can You Feel The Love Tonight.

Guest musicians from Buckinghamshire schools - all winners at the recent Festival of Young Musicians organised by the Orpheus in March - are the Glas String Quartet, trumpeter Mark Bonner, the Magic Flutes and the Jazz Company.

The audience is promised a wide variety of different musical styles all presented with first class singing and musicianship.

The concert begins at 7.30 pm. Tickets range from £8-£17 from 01494512000 or go to www.wycombeswan.co.uk.
