Maisie Williams has complained about how hard it is to be a teenager in an interview to go with her cover feature for a magazine.

The 17-year-old Game Of Thrones actress is the cover star of the latest issue of Dazed magazine, but said she was sick of being pigeon-holed by adults.

She explained: “People think we’re f***ing stupid and we don’t know anything about anything

“It’s really degrading, I get a lot of adults who are like, ‘You don’t know s***,’ and it’s like, ‘You don’t know s***. You have no idea what it’s like to be 17 years old’.”

Maisie went on: “Whether I like it or not, I’ve become influential to people. I don’t want to be liked just because I’m pretty. That’s f***ing boring, and I’m not that.

“Lots of young people in the industry try to play it cool, but it just makes them look like arrogant d***heads. I’d much rather be liked because people realise that I’m standing up for myself.”

Maisie, who plays Arya Stark in the fantasy drama, can also be seen guest starring in the upcoming series of Doctor Who.
