Brian May has confirmed he is teaming up with Gangnam Style star Psy in the recording studio.

The Queen guitarist told MTV News at the Kerrang! awards that he had met Korean singer Psy for brunch in London to discuss plans to work together.

He said: "I met the guy and we had a very interesting chat."

Brian also revealed that Psy was something of a Queen superfan.

He said: "He's a very thoughtful man and a significant artist. He's also encyclopaedic about Queen and says the reason he wanted to sing is because he saw Queen at Wembley '86 on video.

"We have a couple of ideas, so yeah I'm up for it."

Brian, who is lobbying against government plans to control the UK badger population, has released a number of collaborative works recently.

He worked with Slash on Badger Swagger and Brian Blessed on The Badger Song.
