A Marlow pub is celebrating a new lease of life by welcoming an orchestra to play in its newly renovated garden.
The Ship on West Street will welcome Marlow Orchestra on Thursday night after new owner Tim Wilson vowed to get involved with the community.
Mr Wilson and his team say they plan to bring the pub “into the 21st century” and install a new cocktail and champagne bar as well as making changes to the menu.
He said: “We are looking forward to welcoming customers, old and new, to what promises to be a fantastic evening of music and drinks and hope they will join us on the next step of the journey for a pub that has roots in Marlow going back to 1580”.
Marlow Orchestra was formed in 2013 by Marlovian Tom Horn, and now has over 30 members.
