Bucks Pottery and Sculpture Society will hold its annual exhibition at Liston Hall on Chapel Street on Saturday, April 16 from 9:30am to 5:00pm. Twenty potters and sculptors from around Bucks will be showing over 200 pieces of work in a wide variety of styles. All pieces will be for sale and admission is free.

Danesfield Dash 10k and 1k will take place on Sunday, April 17. Both beginners and experienced runners can try the scenic 10k route. There will be a child-friendly start/finish area and a children's 1k race. All proceeds go to Danesfield School. The Marlow and District Railway Society will next meet on Thursday, April 21 at the Bourne End Community Centre. Guest speaker Anthony Coulls – the senior curator of Rail Transport and Technology – will present a talk called “The Work of the National Railway Museum” from 8pm. Entry is £3. Archaeology in Marlow’s next talk “Woodland Archaeology – Secrets of the Wildwood” will talk place in the Garden Room of Liston Hall on Thursday, April 21. Historian Stuart King will discuss the number of discoveries made on the unusual site from 8pm. Cost for members is £3 and £4 for visitors.

Marlow Jazz Club will be hosting another Sunday lunch gig on Sunday, April 24. A new “trad” band lead by trombonist Clive Burton and trumpeter Stuart Henderson will entertain lunch guests at The Royal British Legion Hall on station road from 12:15 to 2:30pm. Tickets are £5.
