A cycling shop in Marlow will be host a mock polling station ahead of the EU referendum after discovering its customers were still torn over the life-changing decision.

Staff at Saddle Safari have installed the temporary polling station – which is made out of bike boxes - in their shop on Dean Street.

After enjoying discussions with visitors about the upcoming referendum in June, staff hope it will stimulate more conversation on the topic and give people more of an idea as to which way they will vote.

Manager of Saddle Safari, Andrew Rackstraw said: “We have noticed that a great deal of them still have no idea how they are going to vote, so we thought it would be fun to install a temporary polling station in our shop for a week.

“We hope it will stimulate conversations and get people thinking about it. By actually having a light hearted pre-referendum vote it will help the undecided make this very important decision before June 23rd.

“The worry is people will get to the polling booth and still have no real idea. We have members of staff who will be voting for the first time despite being in their 20’s as they can see that there vote will count this time.”

Voting results will be announced on Saturday May 28, which will be published on Facebook, on the shop’s website and in the shop window http://www.saddlesafari.co.uk/
