Marlow is to get its first pop-up cinema - but the popcorn will be swapped for gourmet meals made by a celebrity chef.
Tom Kerridge is inviting film buffs and foodies to the town's first 'pop up picture house' which will launch on December 1 for a month.
Cult hits, Christmas classics and family favourites will be shown, while two-course meals cooked by Tom's team from The Hand and Flowers will be in keeping with the theme of the films.
The project has been put together by the famous chef, along with Marlow residents' Mark James of Unicorn Productions, Chris Hughes from Brand Events and Ben Phillips of Steamer Trading, who say their "favourite" films will be shown in a "comfy" environment.
The group hopes the cinema, in the old Town Hall on Market Square, will "bring back community spirit" with Saturday morning screenings and matinee movies for kids, while a bar with real ales and lagers will entertain the older audience members.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, November 8 - visit www.picture-house.co.uk for more information.
