A school in Marlow is hoping to win thousands of pounds to spend on computing equipment for their pupils and elderly residents of the town.
Marlow C of E Infant School is in the running to win £25,000 from the OneFamily Foundation for the second time, after narrowly missing out on scooping the award by less than 100 votes in July.
If they win this time round, the Sandygate Road school plans to use the money to improve computing for the community, including their pupils, parents and elderly residents.
A statement on their website said: “This would enable our young learners to tap into a digital future of untold potential whilst giving local retired residents access to the support and confidence they need to stay connected with technology.”
They are now calling on Marlow residents and businesses to help them reach their goal and vote for them.
Voting closes on November 30. Visit foundation.onefamily.com/projects/marlow-c-of-e-infant-school-computing-for-our-community-2/.
