A busy Marlow restaurant has helped raise more than £3,900 to support vulnerable children.
Staff at The Botanist, on West Street, along with The Botanist Farnham, have been holding fundraising events and challenges to raise a total of £3,965 for children’s charity Barnardo’s, as well as donating funds from the sale of specially blended ‘The Believer’ cocktail and contributions from customers.
Jonathan Whalley, director of children’s services for Barnardo’s in the South East and Anglia, said their fundraising efforts will “truly make a huge difference to the lives of young people.”
He said: “We have been blown away by the enthusiasm and generosity portrayed by the teams at the Botanist.
“Not only have staff members gone above and beyond in work and by personally completing challenge events to raise money for Barnardo’s, but they have also put on amazing events for our young people, some of whom will never forget the special occasions they were treated to.”
