Nearly 200 employees from a Marlow-based business volunteered with local organisations in a bid to “give something back” to the community last week.

Employees at Dun & Bradstreet’s Marlow HQ took part in their annual initiative called ‘Do Good’ week and volunteered with the likes of Longridge Activity Centre, carrying out maintenance, the Chiltern Society, clearing Marlow Common and Wycombe Homeless Connection, hold a “supermarket sweep”, between July 17 and 21.

More than 50 employees also took part in an afternoon of bike building for vulnerable and ill children at their Marlow International office on July 19.

Ed Thorne, UK managing director, Dun & Bradstreet, said: “Giving back to the local community we work within is an important part of our culture at Dun & Bradstreet and it’s been great to give our time in addition to our usual fundraising efforts.

“I was proud of all the teams who went out to help others as part our ‘Do Good’ volunteering week and we’ve had positive feedback from the charities and organisations we worked with.”
