Woman, 21, punched after car collision

A MAN punched a 21-year-old woman in the face after she got out to speak to him when their cars collided.

The incident happened near Beaconsfield Arms in Hughenden Road at 10.30pm on Sunday.

She was not injured but was left "shocked and shaken" police said.

A statement from Thames Valley Police said: "At about 10.30pm, a 21-year-old woman was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa near the Beaconsfield Arms in Hughenden Road when her car was involved in a collision with another vehicle.

"The woman got out of her car to speak to the driver of the other vehicle involved but he punched her in the face before making off.

"The man is white, skinny and about 6ft 3ins. The victim did not manage to see the car he was driving and she did not sustain any visible injuries but was left shocked and shaken."
