FIREWORKS will be lighting up the skies once again over the coming weeks, as south Bucks prepares to celebrate Guy Fawkes night with a range of displays across the area.

Friday, November 2

Chesham - Fireworks spectacular at Chesham United FC, Amy Lane. Gates and bar open at 6pm, fireworks from 7.30pm.

Cryers Hill -Bonfire & Fireworks - in the field at the junction of Missenden Road and Cockpit Road - gates open at 6pm, fire lighting at 6:30pm, fireworks at 7pm - tickets are available from the Spar and Cryers Hill Post Office - £5 each or 4 for £15 if bought in advance, all tickets £5 on the night.

Great Kingshill will be holding a display in the field opposite Pipers Lane.  Gates open 6pm, Fireworks 7pm.  BBQ & refreshments.  Tickets from Spar Shop & post office, £5 (£15 for 4).

North Dean will hold it's display on the Playing field at approximately 6:30pm.

 

Saturday, November 3

Amersham and Chesham Lions Club display at Amersham Cricket Club, Woodside Road. Gates open 6:15pm, Fireworks start 7pm. Adults £5 Children £2. BBQ and hot drinks available.

Beaconsfield, Fireworks at Beaconsfield Cricket Club in the Old Town. Gates opening at 6pm, with bonfire lit at 7.10pm & the fireworks starting at 7.45pm. Tickets available on the night from the main entrance. Adults - £5, Children Under 14 - £4, Family - £15. Cookham A fireworks event will be held at Formosa Meadow in Cookham. Gates open 5.30pm and the Bonfire Lighting is at 6.30pm, fireworks shortly after at 7pm Tickets are available on the night. The event is run by and in aid of Cookham Scouts.

Cookham Dean Village Green will be holding its fireworks display in aid of Cookham Dean Village Club, Cookham Dean School PTA and Noah's Ark pre-school. This year it has been sponsored by Sanctum on the Green. The event runs from 5pm to 9pm and tickets are available on the night.

Flackwell Heath, Carrington Schools Sports Field. Gates open at 6pm for a 6.45pm start. There will be firework shows, a Guy competition, bonfire and a bar. Tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the night, with free entry for under 5s. Advance tickets available from the schools, Unit 4, Fair Price Food and News,  Express Video and High Wycombe Information Centre in the library in Eden. There is no parking available within the site.

Gerrards Cross, Fireworks at the Memorial Centre on East Common. Gates open at 5.30pm, display at 6.30pm.

Great Missenden Church of England School, Church Lane. Gates open at 5.30pm, display starts at 7.30pm. Fair ground rides, refreshments, tombola, and licensed bar. Advance ticket prices, adults £5 (£6 on the gate), children £3 (£4 on the gate), £15 for a family ticket (£20 on the gate) which includes 2 adults and 3 children. Tickets are available from the school office, Samways Newsagent and Cafe Twit. No sparklers please.

High Wycombe Roundtable Fireworks 2012 at Four Ashes field, 5pm for 7pm start. £20 for cars, £6 on foot. Tickets are available from High Wycombe Information Centre in the library in Eden. For more information go to www.hwrt.org

Marlow Bottom - A fireworks event will be taking place in Burford School. Gates open at 5.30pm and tickets are available at www.marlowbottomfireworks.com, or also in Marlow Information Centre, Institute Road. Adults: £6, Child (age 4-12) £5, or £20 for a group/family of four. Admission will go toward the school's fundraising bid for the playing fields.

Naphill - Firework Display, The Crick, from 6-8pm. Prestwood, Kingshill & Misbourne Scouts Bonfire Night at Wren Davis Field in Prestwood. Gate opens 6.15pm, bonfire lighting 7pm. Tickets £4 single, £9 for family group of 5 (max 2 adults) if bought in advance from JNP Estate Agents, Prestwood Post Office, Spar of Great Kingshill and Samways of Great Missenden . Tickets available on the gate £5 single and £12 for family.

Prestwood Scouts Bonfire Night will be held on the Wren Davis field in Wycombe Road.  Gates open at 6.15pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7pm.  Please note that parking is difficult, so please walk to the event if possible.  Tickets available from JNP Estate Agents and the Post Office in Prestwood, Spar at Great Kingshill,  and  Samways in Great Missenden.

Speen Bonfire Night is on the Speen Playing Fields starting at 5:30pm.  Tickets £5 adult, U16s £3, U3s free.  There will be food, BBQ, and afterwards live music at the King William IV pub.

Sunday, November 4

Bledlow Ridge At the field next to The Boot, Chinnor Road, Bledlow Ridge. Gates open 4pm, Bonfire 5pm, Fireworks 6pm.Fire works by Sonning Firworks Ltd. Hot food and drinks, soup, licensed bar and mulled wine. Tickets are £8 for adults, £5 for children and Family £22. For more information call 01494 481524.

Winchmore Hill Bonfire and Fireworks Display at Winchmore Hill Cricket Club, Horsemoor Lane. Bar and BBQ from 6pm, bonfire lit at 7pm, fireworks at 7.30pm. Adults £5 and children £3.

Monday, November 5

Downley - A torchlight procession and bonfire will be held on The Commonside in Downley on November 5.The traditional Bonfire Night celebrations get under way from 6.30pm, featuring a barbeque and mulled wine. Torches will also be available to buy on the night - but there will not be any fireworks.

Marlow - Foxes Piece School, Little Marlow Road, will be holding it's annual fireworks event at 6pm.

Tickets can be bought on the night - costing £6 for adults and £3 for children.

Saturday, November 10

Penn The Friends of Penn School Fundraising Event, Fantastic fireworks display. Gates open at 6pm Bonfire will be lit at 7pm. Display starts at 7.30 pm. BBQ and Mulled Wine.

Chalfont St Giles Bonfire, fireworks and music at Stone Meadow. Gates open at 5.45pm, fireworks at 7pm. Mulled wine, hotdogs and novelties sold on the site. Tickets £7 for adults, £4 for children and £18 for family tickets. Discounts for buying in advance at www.chalfont-fireworks.org.uk.
