A MAN who has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident in Great Kingshill has pleaded not guilty.

Philip Nicholson, 72, of Oak Tree Drive in Lane End pleaded not guilty at Aylesbury Magistrates Court yesterday.

He was charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident following the death of Ryan Adamson.

Ryan, 25, from Nantwich in Cheshire died in Cockpit Road in Great Kingshill on March 15, after being struck by a vehicle, police said.

The case will go to trial, expected to proceed next February in Aylesbury.
