A CHARITY providing vital care to people facing terminal illness has thanked its supporters for their generosity over the Yuletide period.

This year, Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care says it has been able to provide the vital care needed for even more patients in their own homes this Christmas, surrounded by their loved ones, thanks to their donations.

The charity has cared for over 2,600 patients and their families this year, which shows an increase of 17 per cent more patients, and 16 per cent more family members.

Gillian Barnett, Managing Director of fundraising and marketing said "Whether you have fundraised, volunteered your time, sponsored a friend or made a donation this year, we would like to thank you all for making it possible for our nurses to provide well over 1,000 hours of care in patients’ homes over the Christmas period. Your efforts have made a real difference."

Furthermore, IRGH would like to wish all its supporters a very Happy Christmas.
