A FLOOD warning in place for Marlow and surrounding River Thames locations over the Christmas period has been withdrawn.
Although the river remains high, The Environment Agency has downgraded the official flood status.
The organisation stated today that there is only a low risk in the coming days now.
Homeowners were being warned in recent days that if they were close to the river their houses may suffer flooding and certain parts of Marlow had been hit by the rising waters.
Quarry Wood Road, where Longridge outdoor activities centre and Marlow FM are based, Riverwoods Drive, Firview Close, Gossmore Park and Higginson Park were among the sites most badly affected.
