Changes to 11+ system embargoed until 6pm
8:53am Wednesday 9th January 2013 in News
DETAILS of changes to the 11+ exam system will be released tonight.
At a press conference yesterday in Great Missenden the changes to grammar school admissions were revealed.
But details are under embargo until tonight at 6pm.
In last week’s paper the Free Press revealed an educational assessment organisation at Durham University is to create a new test that will potentially replace the current 11+ selection exam from this coming September.
At the end of last term the 13 grammar schools across Bucks announced they were consulting on a new admissions policy which would include a change of format to the current test for the 2014 intake. For full details of the press conference yesterday see the Bucks Free Press website at 6pm.

Of course it doesn't, but it shows that even the schools and newpapers aren't clever enough to work out that the exam in Sept/Oct 2012 was for the 2013 intake.
The next exam, presumably to be taken in September/October 2013 or maybe at the end of the Summer term - the earliest for which changes can be made - will affect the 2014 intake.
