AN MP’s plans for a regional ‘super hospital’ received a mixed reaction in High Wycombe this evening.
Dr Phillip Lee, MP for Bracknell, held a public meeting at The Hub in Easton Street to present his radical proposals for a new hospital at Junction 8/9 of the M4.
About 25 people attended, including health officials, politicians and members of the public. Some showed interest in the plans, but others insisted that specialist services such as A&E should be restored to Wycombe Hospital instead.
