A SECTION of woodland near The Rye in High Wycombe has been cordoned off today as police investigate reports of a rape.
Part of the woodland at the bottom of Keep Hill Woods, near the dyke at Hollywell Mead, has been roped off.
Around 15 officers are estimated to be at the scene, keeping the cordon and conducting a thorough search of the area. They have been there all day and, it is believed, also for at least part of the night.
Superintendent Gilbert Houalla confirmed to the Bucks Free Press that the search is connected to the allegation of a rape.
