Bucks Free Press: Plans submitted for Princes Risborough sports centre Plans submitted for Princes Risborough sports centre

PRINCES Risborough School has put in a planning application to build a new community sports centre.

The plan said the faciliy will offer a range of sporting and recreational activities to the community as well as being used by more than 1,000 pupils as part of their curriculum.

It said the current gym is the size of a single court and can only accommodate 60 pupils at one time, which means most PE lessons take place outside and when it rains they have to be abandoned.

The site of the proposed building is on the Eastern site next to the school buildings on a sloping grass bank.

The following applications were also validated by south Bucks councils on Monday.
